Statement of Faith:

We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct (II Timothy 3:16-17).

  1. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, John 7:33,39; 15:26, II Corinthians 13:14).

  2. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory (Matthew 1:23, John 1:1-4, Acts 1:11, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Ephesians 1:20-22, Philippians 2:5-11).

  3. We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful people, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation and eternal life (Luke 24:46-47, John 6:40; 14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7).

  4. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life (John 15:26, Romans 8:9, Galatians 5:16-18, I Corinthians 2:12).

  5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and the unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal death (I Corinthians 15:51-57, Revelation 20:11-15).

  6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 12:5, Ephesians 1:22-23, I Corinthians 12:12, 27).

  7. We believe the purpose of human existence is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Leviticus 19:18, 34, Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 19:19; 22:37, Mark 12:30).

Core Values

Christians, as members of the priesthood of all believers, are called and equipped by God for a life of ministry. God gives persons from all walks of life unique talents and skills to be used for His glory. God uses these talents and skills to communicate His truth in different ways to different people. All forms of human activity, once consecrated to God’s service, increase the means and manner in which we can glorify our God. This is the body of Christ in action in our world. As members of the body of Christ, the church, we believe it is our duty to show Christian compassion, and to use God-given talents and skills to serve both our Christian brothers and sisters and the communities in which they live and work.

Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land” (Deuteronomy 15:10-1l).

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself” Matthew 22:37-39).

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink” (Proverbs 25:21).

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me”(Matthew 25:35-36, 39).

What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him: Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, ‘Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead” James 2:14-17, 26).

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully” (Romans 12:4-8).

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others” (1Peter 4:10).

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them” (Hebrews 6:10).

If you spend yourself in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed then your light will rise in the darkness and your light will become like the noonday” (Isaiah 58:10).

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush will grow the pine tree and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be the Lord's renown, for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed” (Isaiah 55:10-13).
